Make the ball jump by using the joystick. Commit to your jumps: once you choose a direction, you can’t change—the ball will go all the way until it sticks to a new surface.
Beware of the red platforms: if you touch one, it’s game over! They are always on the move, but if you can recognize their move pattern, you will learn to avoid them in no time!
